IN FLIGHT ENTERTAINMENT:
Do you remember when there was only the drop down screen for inflight movies and everyone had to watch the same one? Oh and don’t forget you had to strain your neck looking over the passenger seats ahead of you.
Now we all have individual monitors located in the seatback before us, or must utilize a Tablet and the choice is yours – movie, TV show, music etc.

AIRPORTS: around the world have grown immensely in size, services offered from the original check your bags and go bare minimum. Today we find; Restaurants, Bars, “Shopping Malls”, Cafes, Kiosks selling everything you may have forgotten
The airport entity of air travel is one that has evolved to “Serve the Customer’s Needs and Comforts” once you’ve checked in to the time you need to be at the Gate and ready to board.
Fast Forward to the 2020’s:
Rules/Regulations/Routes/Connections can make planning overwhelming. Then on top of that, as we navigate our way through the world wide crisis – travel planning has a “renewed” meaning with emphasis!
- The Rules and Regulations that now include proof of vaccination against COVID-19 & negative PCR Tests.
- Vaccination “Status” – requirements around the world, we are now seeing the adaptation of proof of Vax Cards/codes for not only entrance into countries, but venues for example: restaurants/museums/theatres. Transportation such as planes, trains, cruise ships – both river & ocean.
Many extra precautions are in place for the safety of all. Then there’s your next step, the current up-to-date entrance requirements to your chosen destination. All while keeping in mind your requirements as a Canadian Citizen on return.
The above mentioned, have been changing rapidly over the past several months. From border closures, started back in 2020 to re-opening’s has brought on a fast track of rules and regulations, that sometimes change almost daily!
